I have been a practicing artist for over thirty years. I research natural forms and processes with a focus on micro and macro imaging of biological entities. Making connections between naturally occurring patterns and the human brain. My material investigation explores neuro-physiological concepts like form constant patterns, such as cobweb, lattice, tunnel and spiral, which form part of the beginning basis for my experiments into sculptural form. This visual tactile process driven by emotional instinct that is rooted in embodied cognition, framed within the phenomenological study of experiential knowledge.
